Part of our long-term approach towards community relations is to:

• pursue mutual benefits for all involved;
• improve the quality of life for neighbouring communities; and
• work in partnership with the community and government to find solutions for social impacts resulting from our presence.

Good community relations relies heavily on effective two-way communication. We aim to achieve this by providing accurate and timely information to our stakeholders and by regularly seeking constructive feedback and input back from them. By adopting an accountable, transparent approach we believe we will continue to maintain a good working relationship with local communities in Papua New Guinea, Australia and Côte d'Ivoire.
