On 8 March 2007 eligible Ballarat Goldfields shareholders were issued with 5 Lihir Gold shares for every 54 Ballarat Goldfields shares they held, in accordance with the scheme consideration. An allotment advice was mailed on that day to each shareholder’s registered address confirming the total number of new Lihir Gold shares allotted.
