Management
 | Mr Phil Baker CPA, BBus, PGDipBA Chief Executive Officer Mr Baker is a qualified accountant with an extensive background in the Australian mining industry. For more than 20 years Mr Baker held a number of senior financial and commercial roles with MIM Holdings Limited. He was a member of MIM’s Executive Management team as Executive General Manager - Strategy Planning and Development, until the company was acquired by Xstrata in 2003. Since that time Mr Baker has spent two years as CFO and company secretary of pharmaceutical development company Peplin Ltd, and more recently worked as CFO and company secretary of Queensland Magnesia. He is based in LGL’s corporate office in Brisbane. | 
| Graham Folland BSc (Ext Met), MMEE Executive GM Corporate Development Mr Folland has over 25 years experience in metallurgical, project and corporate development roles in the gold mining industry. He spent 16 years at Placer Dome, including 7 years most recently as General Manager, Corporate & Project Development for the Asia-Pacific operations. Mr Folland’s expertise includes project and feasibility study development, and financial and acquisition evaluation. He is based in LGL’s corporate office in Brisbane. | 
| Noel Foley Executive GM Papua New Guinea Mr Foley has more than 30 years experience in the mining industry, most recently 3 years as Mine General Manager at Placer Dome’s Osborne Mine in Queensland. He has extensive experience in Papua New Guinea including 3 years at OK Tedi during the mine start up and 10 years at Misima Mine, including the last 3 years as Mine General Manager. Mr Foley is based on Lihir Island. |  | Tim Fry B Eng (Hons) Mining, ACSM Executive GM West Africa and Corporate Services Mr Fry is a mining engineer with 25 years industry experience spanning Ireland, the United Kingdom and Australia. He spent 16 years with the world’s leading explosives company Dyno Nobel, where he held senior management roles covering contract, commercial and operations management. Most recently Mr Fry was President of Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific and a key member of the company's global management team, where he oversaw significant corporate change and development at the organisation during the move from private equity to ASX listing. Prior to emigrating to Australia in 1991, Mr Fry gained project engineering and management experience with Tara Mines, Yeoman Morven and other major infrastructure projects in the UK. He is based in LGL’s corporate office in Brisbane. |  | Peter Smith F AusIMM, GAICD, MBA USQ Executive GM Operations, Australia and West Africa Mr Smith is a mining executive with more than 32 years experience across a broad spectrum of roles, primarily in the Australian resources sector. Prior to joining LGL, Mr Smith spent two and a half years as a Director of Western Metals Ltd, an exploration company with properties in Tanzania, Canada, the United States and Australia. Over the past 10 years he has been employed in a range of senior corporate roles, including at WMC Resources Ltd and Ensham Resources. He is based in LGL’s corporate office in Brisbane. |  | Stuart MacKenzie BSc (Geol), LLB Group Secretary Mr MacKenzie has more than 15 years legal and commercial experience in Australia and overseas. Most recently he spent 5 years as General Counsel & Company Secretary of Placer Dome Australia Limited. Prior to that, he was a solicitor with Blake Dawson Waldron in Sydney and with Stikeman Elliott in Vancouver, Canada. Mr MacKenzie started his mining career in Canada as an exploration geologist with Noranda. He is based in LGL’s corporate office in Brisbane. |
